For anyone who kows their way around the carb/white spacer issue....
Would it make sense to do the white spacer, but not drill out plug over the idle mixture screw?
Here's why I'm asking: My bike has only got 1000 miles (warranty is good for another nine hard-riding months). I checked with the Suzuki mechs, these procedures will void warranty. According to Bruce Clarke's posting, the spacer addresses the mid-range fuel flow, and the screw the low end. High end is already OK. The bike is light, so there's plenty of response/oomph at the low end, but I'd like to improve mid range performance and decrease backfire.
Spacer can be replaced if bike needs warranty work. Once the brass plug is out, it's gone for good.
What do you all think?????
